      Pros

      There are pockets of the organization (Medicaid) that still cares about the customer and end user.

      Cons

      The Cigna deal is unfortunately taking priority over everything else. All of the legacy leadership at the ELT level who attempted to put the customer first have been forced out or saw the writing on the wall and practively left. The company is burning the furniture to save the house in order to get the deal done.

      Pros

      Work from home once a week, normal hours 9-5. Benefits are okay, it is generally a non threatening environment, people are nice for the most part.

      Cons

      Most of the underwriters here have been here their entire career. They tend to hire failed finance graduates and start them up entry level. Be aware that if you are looking to transition elsewhere this is an extremely specific role and you may become unmarketable for other positions at other firms. Generally, management is highly political and promote based on politics rather than merit. Stingy PTO policy.
