Pros

Got some experience in a relevant sector to get a better job after a year

Cons

9-6 position with an hour lunch, not allowed to start/ fin earlier or take a shorter break despite job being 100% independent very low pay for the job & hours, zero benefits micro-managed beyond belief, the role is very very simple but was made extremely stressful with how it is monitored every error recorded to excruciating detail and presented in writing on a monthly meeting far too much internal monitoring

Pros

coworkers were very kind and helpful, good hearted people.

Cons

Management was nothing short of obnoxious, toxic and entitled. The director was extremely inexperienced on the technical and consultative side, yet tried to aggressively backseat drive and micro-manage every little thing. My first week at Elevate I saw my director make embarrassing blunders with clients and client requests, misinterpreting their instructions and providing poor consultation on calls. I was genuinely shocked by such poor leadership, and equally shocked by their arrogance as they laughed off wasting hours of PM time because they confused themselves first and handed down orders second. As your point of escalation they should be better at the job than you, not desperately relying on you to figure out what they cannot. Narcissism is rampant at Elevate, they have a "rule with an iron fist" mentality that they seem inclined to use mostly on minorities. Work-life balance is in the negative, I was told that because the position is salaried I should be available at all times of the day, another glaring reminder of how out of the loop they were with the rest of the industry. No incentives, no bonuses, onboarding is abysmally non-existent, just nothing good at all... very low quality on all fronts. I gave it 3 weeks before I quit without notice. It was that bad.
