Pros

Professionalism and dedication of the people. Great benefits. Nice bonus program. Global company -- great exposure. Overall, a good learning experience.

Cons

Elsevier is always fighting some kind of cost battle. It can be exhausting for all involved. Hard to stay focused when you don't know when the other shoe will drop.

Pros

You are treated as an adult, no hand holding. I was able to gain a lot of valuable work experience.

Cons

They rarely hire recent graduates, but I believe they are trying to change that.
