Pros

Elsevier is a stable and dependable company to be employed. The benefits are better than average compared with other businesses. The PTO increases with tenure. The culture is competitive within the industry but there is a healthy level of home/work balance.

Cons

The pay scale for new hires is not usually on par with competitive rates of similar jobs. There is usually no room for growth or advancement in your career ladder. There is a heavy amount of middle/upper management. Upper management changes every few years which sometimes leader to restructure of departments and business units.
