Pros

Good people, interesting industry challenges to solve

Cons

Boys club with little change. "Stab in the back" culture, becoming UK-centric vs, global, New York office is being cut, not an innovative culture. You're fine if you're in UK

Pros

Elsevier provides you with a pretty solid opportunity in the beginning. They provide you with plenty of training and ability to grow.

Cons

They decide to outsource you and 60+ other people to Asia, AFTER you go across seas and help train their new people. Even with proven metrics that their plan is failing, they keep following along because the bosses somewhere 3,000 miles away decided it was the right thing to do.
