Pros

I have worked at Elsevier for a long time now, and I can't imagine I would ever leave. The work-life balance is outstanding, managers are extremely competent, the work is very exciting, and overall, you feel like a person who matters every single day.

Cons

I have to really think about this to come up with something. The only thing I've got is that there is a disconnect between what is happening in departments and higher management - but I think that is often true at a lot of companies.

Pros

You are treated as an adult, no hand holding. I was able to gain a lot of valuable work experience.

Cons

They rarely hire recent graduates, but I believe they are trying to change that.
