Pros

not much. There really is not much. There are trainings for product and sales but its all inwardly looking, what elsevier thinks is needed, but not to market needs

Cons

-movement of staff base on past sucess not whether they have what it takes for the next role -movement of staff strongly dependent on how many years in a role (quantity) not quality or fit,

Pros

Smart, fun people to work with, fairly casual environment, good benefits and bonus structure.

Cons

Senior Management has completely lost touch with reality. They continue to hire more Senior Managers that do nothing, contribute nothing, and end up costing hard working, loyal employees their jobs as they have to cut costs. Constantly changing directions and priorities, while cutting budgets takes a toll.
