There are a lot of well-intentioned, like-minded people at Elwyn's IT department who are working hard to bring the company's technology and processes into the 21st century.

Cons

Corporate entities pushing goals without regard for the repercussions of achieving those goals, and a lack of transparency between managers and their employees results in a tendency for completed projects to end up making things worse rather than better for the company as a whole.

Everything Sandy the ceo is arrogant and feels the need to have 2 secretaries while laying off many employees sandy and Dan, the CFO, each have large enough salaries while working for "non-profit" to have shore homes in some of the nicest areas yet refuse to take pay cuts in order to avoid lay offs Sandy and Dan do not appear to care one bit for the clients they are supposed to be rallying for yet care immensely about themselves Such a shame because I would NEVER recommend the placement of a client to any of Elwyns services because of what I was witnessed to There is also a lot of shady money dealings within this organization I would not only not recommend this company to anyone to work for but I also would STRONGLY advise against any charitable donations...they shut homes down yet the executives get a 450$ a month car allowance.. a little fishy in my book for a "non-profit" agency

Beautiful campus, they hire people with disabilities, and some people are really nice

Cons

Negative work atmosphere and culture. Management is on the decline. Management takes the credit for good work and blames others when their policies fail. Their decisions are not based on the best interest of the clients. No people of color are in positions above the Director's positions.
