      Very flexible hours basically just whenever you feel like working during the school day.

      Lack of direction in what you should be doing. Lots of down time

      Pros

      Fairly flexible schedule, most professors are easy to work with if you or their students are having problems. Good for some extra spending money. Pay increases each semester that you continue tutoring.

      Cons

      Pay is as minimum as possible, only allowed 10 hours per week (otherwise you're not considered a student employee anymore).
