This is personally rewarding. - There are some technical challenges that present good learning opportunities.
Cons
- There is no formal methodology in place, resulting in a chaotic environment. - There is no formal professional development in place, resulting in mediocre products. - There are big communication gaps between management and employees. - Often, there are no clear definition of responsibilities: you'll end up wearing hats that you were never told about in the interview. - There is way too much bureaucracy around privacy issues (specially for a company this size), which will get in your way when trying to do your job.
