I was disappointed by the lack of professionalism displayed by some managers, including the use of unprofessional language in group chats. Favoritism and gossip were prevalent, and professional development opportunities seemed to be reserved for select employees. To others considering working at Emerson, I would caution against it. While the company has its strengths, I believe there are better organizations that prioritize employee well-being and growth. To Emerson's leadership, I suggest taking employee concerns seriously, addressing burnout and workload issues, and promoting a more inclusive and professional work culture.
