      Pros

      I worked for Emerson at the Rosemount subsidiary in MN. Management was always keen on supporting their employees. Much emphasis was given to safety and the pace of work was usually not overwhelming.

      Cons

      If you want a fast paced work environment, you may want to look elsewhere. My experience was that Rosemount was a good place to maintain a career while raising kids/buying a home etc.

      Industry leading product and services with industry leading company culture. Allows employees to be innovative and take on the responsibility to drive innovative ideas.

      Cons

      Highly driven by peak margins for shareholders which has driven record share prices, but haven't built the organization as fast as the rise in shareholder value.

      Good team and family, positions can be either fast or slow paced. Good managers. Lots of room for skill development

      Cons

      The ones who boast the most about their skills or who try to put others down in comparison often get rewarded more in terms of promotions rather that ones that keep their head down and execute and accomplish tasks
