      Lots of talent and resources, very bureaucratic

      Pros

      The company is full of technical experts and has a ton of resources available for engineering. Lots of opportunities in different locations depending on what field you're interested in. Flow Controls in Marshalltown has a bunch of talent and top-notch resources to leverage if you can wait patiently to use them. Great combination of manufacturing, engineering, project management, quality, etc. Good opportunities to move up and around especially if you are willing to play the political game.

      Cons

      Projects move very slowly. Lots of siloing of technical knowledge within teams. Culture has become heavily "corporatized" over the last several years. No bonuses. Pay is average at best.
