      Pros

      Opportunities galore in terms of jobs, great flexibility in work arrangement for sales people, very often you meet nice people in the organization.

      Cons

      Does not really care about employees; focus is on shareholders only (not even on customers!). Relatively closed culture, un-competitive compensation packages attract and retain only middling talent, pays lip service to loads of real issues.

      Pros

      Emerson is a wonderful company with great core values and leadership team. Opportunities for growth abound and the pay is not so bad.

      Cons

      There are a lot of bad people in middle management who get there not based on merit but based on who they know. Compensation and Benefits are based on industry average.

      Work life balance culture and huge room for personal growth. Performance driven and good leadership. Big organisation with a lot of exposure to their diversified business

      Cons

      Not much downside to share for working in Emerson. The only Cons is the poor oil and gas industry outlook that impact the business.
