      Way too big of an organization to be effective

      Pros

      Technology and approach was interesting at the time Great co-workers, decent project budgets. Opportunity for advancement if you were willing to move or travel.

      Cons

      Lots of layoffs, good employees were let go because they didn't mesh with the corporate culture. Lack of communication between St Louis and remote locations and divisions. With distributed enterprise, lots of conference calls at odd hours of the day and lots of travel.

      Pros

      For the most part a stable company. Decent people trying to do the decent thing.

      Cons

      Limited possibility of career growth. Salary just about average. Healthcare benefits cost more than average. An ultra conservative company. No bonuses. No employee recognition. No profit sharing. Corporation too concerned about the bottom line to care less about the employee.
