      Pros

      Great people. The work is enjoyable. The people really care about the company. Very data driven company which lowers politics

      Cons

      Location is not ideal. Annual pay raises are typically under 3%. For some people it can be very slow to progress in the company.

      Pros

      There are a lot of employee benefits to take advantage of here, such as profit sharing and tuition reimbursement.

      Cons

      A lot of downsizing went on during my employment at Emerson, which caused some supervising staff to become petty.

      Pros

      Nice culture and work/life balance. Good career growth and access to mentors. Excellent colleagues. Smart and innovative people. Opportunity to work cross functionally and globally.

      Cons

      After 10+ years as a member of the Emerson MBA program and above average performer, had job eliminated. No effort to relocate me to another position. Pay is at least 20% under-market value. No incentives for Director level positions (bonus, stock options, etc.).
