Great institution name and state of the art everything.
Cons
Does not take care of its employees and instead spends all the incoming money from charities on expensive architecture while paying its employees peanuts
Outstanding leaders who were generally very accessible.
Highly inclusive in that there were many opportunities for employees at all levels to generate ideas and/or provide appropriate constructive criticism.
The mission and vision of Emory were a constant mantra and truly guided many decisions and actions.
Good compensation and benefits, especially for a non-profit. Emory seems to really care about its employees and good home-office balance.
Cons
Human Resources department, ironically, was the most difficult department with which to work. Very difficult to get real live people to answer calls and/or to know with whom one should speak for any given issue. Once a person was reached, however, they were usually very helpful.
