Pros
Decent benefits. Employer contribution to 403b is pretty good, but you can't even have it until you worked here for 3 years.
Cons
Roles are vague, and so it depends highly on the supervisor of what you will do. Most people don't seem properly trained, and/or they themselves care very little about their job. It makes everything run extremely inefficiently. People probably start off caring but get discouraged from the lack of support. The few people who seem to know what they're doing also seem very overworked. Why are they doing so many things?! Anyway, work-life-balance and career opportunities depends highly on your supervisor. In fact, HR can't even tell you why your role is categorized in the grade of the overall Emory salary structure and how to move up. They don't know either.
