Pros

Good benefits overall, strong commitment to diversity & social justice, competitive salary, opportunities for advancement, strong support for professional development

Cons

Work life balance can be tough at times; work day schedules can be somewhat inflexible; while salaries are competitive, annual raise pools are more limited; parental leave policies on the university side are a bit antiquated & do not truly support parents taking a full 12 week FMLA leave

Pros

Competitive salary, great benefits, and good people. Being a university and a healthcare provider the benefits extend far beyond those that you would receive at a regular company. Those benefits to be free clinic visits and courtesy tuition.

Cons

Very little to no room for growth. Would need to transfer to another section of the university for true growth potential
