Pros

Great for networking and good benefits. Thats all I got.

Cons

Limited mobility for advancement or career growth and if an employee takes their own career in hand to develop it, provide an encouraging environment to do so. Lack of consistency between departments. Too much red tape and inflated egos which makes for less productivity because you are too busy trying to keep up with the office politics. Lots of veiled racism and discrimination if you have a family and are a minority.

Pros

Educational environment, clicial expertise, flexibility, constant access to expanding education and learning

Cons

low salary, TERRIBLE traffic & parking at the main campus on Clifton Road. Without a PhD or MD, you can only go so far. PhDs are a dime a dozen (one even told me not to bother going to get one)
