A good place to work

Pros

The educational benefits are excellent. Most departments seem concerned about the employee and work/life balance more than others. Laid back workplace, for the most part.

Cons

Stay out of SOM unless you are upper administration. Internal functions are often outsouced, which can get frustrating. Also, paying to park can be quite expensive.

Pros

The health benefits are great. Try to create a family environment

Cons

Good all boys network. Hard to move from administrative to management. It is about who you know not what you know.

Type A environment

Pros

Great benefits. A lot of variety.

Cons

Type A environment. Working 12 hours a day is expected. Long work hours are not rewarded. No merit increases for top performance. First place I've ever worked and not received a raise for outstanding job performance. Management is allowed to bully employees with no ramifications.
