An excellent place for graduate school

Pros

Atlanta is affordable compared with other cities and had a lot of options for young graduate students coming directly out of college as well as those who took time. Emory is a beautiful campus and there are many resources available to graduate students.

Cons

The downsides of Emory are common to any graduate school. I always felt disappointed in Emory's president and rarely felt as though the university as a whole made an effort to reach out to the broader Atlanta community.

Pros

It is a great experience, met a lot of cool people who were all interested in learning about me and help me mature in this job.

Cons

Sometimes, the students are pretty rowdy and hard to keep in control. This is only some of the time, though, but it is something to keep in mind. Additionally, it isn't perfectly organized/scheduled.
