Pros
- A really great culture - Very smart people - The work is challenging and there's lots to be done There's the ability to make a real impact here, and the people are pretty down to earth and friendly. The work that is here is difficult, because it is unique and there's a lot of it to do - and I mean that in a good way. It's a very unique experience. The culture is great, you will build friendships here as there will be several people like you. No one's forced to go to company events, but they're frequent and available so you can try them if you like.
Cons
- Zero accountability for when teams miss deadlines - Projects will be brought up that are underway and disappear - Company direction changes every quarter - An almost resolute decision to do things the hard way - High (and unacknowledged) attrition The work is enjoyable at first, but quickly grows monotonous as the same problems occur and are fixed by the same half-baked solutions since that's how it's always been. You will be probably be asked to work longer hours, but for most teams there's no recourse if you don't. Delivery of anything that's not client facing seems to have no accountability, and is generally just considered a 'nice-to-have'. Lots of people have left. Some people I saw the day before were suddenly let go without warning. Senior management chooses new initiatives and projects one quarter that seem to disappear the next. * There's a lot of roles at this company - this was my experience.
