Pros
1010data has a very motivated, intelligent team that I've been impressed with since starting. The feel is very much like a startup and the company innovates rapidly and has a very collaborative culture. Employees are expected to jump in and contribute quickly. The organization is flat relative to the larger industry players, and its very common to find the most senior executives walking the halls and talking to employees. The product is differentiated, which does help with competitive positioning.
Cons
The analytics industry is very crowded, and so deals have become increasingly difficult to win industry-wide. That said, the company has some very large customers and very high customer satisfaction. There is no room for B players!
