Pros

3form has things like on-site gym, free fruits and free fountain soda/coffee. Recently, they have added a tenure award marketed as "service award." Gifts are given for 5 years ($250 reimbursement for concert or sporting event), 10 years ($1000 for hotel/ air travel) and 15 years ($1500 for hotel/air travel). Albeit this is a step in the right direction. I wonder if this will continue. Or if they will eliminate it soon like many other employee incentives of the past. Also added to benefits is 2-day paid paternity leave.

Cons

Recently, they have added the following benefits for salary workers only (mainly office employees): a week paid off during the last week of December for the holidays, 3 days paid for sick leave, 5 additional days paid days off for those who have worked 5 years or more. This is a con because it is not a company wife policy. Anyone working in production or fabrication, those already working 10-12 hour shifts to get products out, work mandated Saturday OT (last year was 27+ Saturdays), anyone who is paid hourly does not receive these benefits. This makes production employees feel even more marginalized and treated unfairly. This creates a divisive cultural. There is very little chance for advancement. Or even opportunity to advance. It is like one day

Pros

The culture is built by its people. They are what make the company a nice place to work at. The product is interesting and the industry allows room for growth. The month celebrations and holidays are nice too.

Cons

Unless you've got an insane amount of value to the company, they will not work to keep you there. The pay is minimal and they don't hand out raises easily. They will drop and replace you with someone cheaper if they think it's necessary, or refuse to give a promotion to avoid paying an increased wage.
