Pros

Good gym, free fruit, end of year gift.

Cons

Lack of company direction is evident and the want of ‘yes’ employeesI is apparent. Office employees get much more time off than production, everyone is trying to keep up with the ceo and what he wants while trying to give their direct higher up what they expect. They try to make you feel like the culture is good but after a while you see it’s more of a buddy buddy culture and if you don’t fit into that you won’t be invested in.

Our culture is very important to us and while you pointed out a few very visible cultural investments, we regret you did not see the deeper investments we are making such as getting together each month to introduce new team members, provide an update on the market and the company and have some laughs together. We value our team members, therefore, are careful to support work-life balance. Just last Friday our Salt Lake City employees enjoyed some paid time off with their family at Lagoon. As I write this response, we are preparing for ice cream novelty month right now which will be in August for our SLC headquarters and September for our fabrication facility. Pros

The culture is built by its people. They are what make the company a nice place to work at. The product is interesting and the industry allows room for growth. The month celebrations and holidays are nice too.

Cons

Unless you've got an insane amount of value to the company, they will not work to keep you there. The pay is minimal and they don't hand out raises easily. They will drop and replace you with someone cheaper if they think it's necessary, or refuse to give a promotion to avoid paying an increased wage.
