Pros

Challenging Retail Environment. Large Company. There are quite a number of workstreams going at any one time. With a large community of stores and support teams, there are many potential opportunities to learn about retailing and the Retail marketplace. This company appears to compensate well as compared to other companies and the bonus structure has been extremely high over the last few years. There are some very talented individuals there that you can learn from. This is a fairly large company, it can be very comfortable working for a company this size, as long as you are not looking to stand out.

Cons

Vicious politics causing this company to lose valuable resources. Top Management part of problem so it is not likely to correct itself anytime soon. A huge disconnect between senior management and teams causes quite a tremendous amount of frustration amongst the employees. There is a reason why employees are leaving this company in large numbers. I think that until something is done to break this cycle, the company is doomed to repeat history. IT dept has a tremendously poor track record overall with project execution yet they continue to follow the same steps every time, nearly ensuring the future projects will meet with the same level of dissatisfaction from the business. This is not the place if you want to be recognized as a strong leader or individual contributor.

Pros

good work value and environment friendly

Cons

The manager would call my phone at 3 am to tell me to unload a truck full of drinks alone, constantly, even though it was never mentioned or docked as pay.

Pros

Steady hours, free drinks, meet an assortment of people, repetitive customers that you get to know and like

Cons

Low pay, bad benefits, and mostly working by yourself unless you're first shift, and then only on weekdays.
