Pros

So much potential that it keeps you hopeful for things to improve. Although, they never do. Decent office design to help feel like you're in a creative media environment.

Cons

Absolutely no communication. Leaders that don't belong in their positions. Full of cliques that make you feel that you are back in high school. Full of double standards across the board. Never focus and stick to a goal they create. No original creativity coming from any of the brands. If a company has to preach about creativity and being creative, means they have larger issues at hand. The focus over many years is fixing and reorganizing marketing, when the real issue is the lack of original, thought provoking and smart programs to air and market. "Storytelling" is the idea there, yet the stories being told are not inspiring nor do the NOW smart consumer care about. Consumers know good production and production value of programs here lack severely.

Pros

I worked on the Content Creation team which is primarily made up of contract employees. Work is remote, but plenty of opportunities to get together in office and meet other people and socialize afterwards. Everyone on the team is great to work with, there are efficient systems in place and it is a well-oiled machine! I've done two contract rounds with them and am looking forward to my next one.

Cons

No opportunities to convert from contract to staff. There are a lot of things that aren't available to contract employees that are only available to staff (certain meetings, resources, etc). Contract employees are limited to 18 months, and then are required to take a year off.

Pros

Some very nice people; had good benefits although those are being cut back because of financial uncertainty

Cons

Fading industry, frequent layoff cycles with hints of more to come, the company is trying to innovate but some divisions are slow to modernize other than throwing around silly talking points at meetings.
