Pros

Great Benefits and Time Off (PTO days)

Cons

If you are working or plan to work for Technology Department, you WILL become overworked and unappreciated! remember this review if you take the job. The place is so toxic it is unbelievable. I mean really!!! There is no room for growth in the Technology Department and it runs very dysfunctional. Where Managers, VPs, directors all have to "justify" their jobs by "doing" something all the time, and that means overlapping into the jobs/responsibilities of their staff. Micromanaging hell at this place. All about the clicks too! "Leaders" love throw around their titles like it's a high school with the popular jocks and cheerleaders. Let's not forget the tons of useless meetings for everything! A meeting for the meeting, meeting after the meeting, meeting follow up to the meeting! ughhhhh it's just crazy! SVP's who micromanage down to the tech level and does NOT trust their own team EVER. HR and Executive team should really place a secret shopper or something on this 9th floor to investigate. To some it's all about the metrics and what to show on paper of "how much" we are doing. Consider this place to be sort of a digital sweat shop and as long as you produce output, you can keep your job. It's really that bad. I am so relieved that I am no longer there.

Pros

I worked on the Content Creation team which is primarily made up of contract employees. Work is remote, but plenty of opportunities to get together in office and meet other people and socialize afterwards. Everyone on the team is great to work with, there are efficient systems in place and it is a well-oiled machine! I've done two contract rounds with them and am looking forward to my next one.

Cons

No opportunities to convert from contract to staff. There are a lot of things that aren't available to contract employees that are only available to staff (certain meetings, resources, etc). Contract employees are limited to 18 months, and then are required to take a year off.

Pros

Some very nice people; had good benefits although those are being cut back because of financial uncertainty

Cons

Fading industry, frequent layoff cycles with hints of more to come, the company is trying to innovate but some divisions are slow to modernize other than throwing around silly talking points at meetings.
