Pros

Employee benefits and welfare are good, such as healthcare and paid annual leave.

Cons

Synergy between departments is horrible. Lots of corporate politics. And workflow is super inefficient. Sales or marketing teams will come up with urgent requests and sometimes unreasonable or unrealistic ideas. People in management roles are not doing their job well. This takes a toll on team members who have to swallow the bitter pill. The office is an echo chamber and everyone chimes in positive remarks just to be seen as productive. But real day to day problems are swept under the carpet. People in management are not determined to resolve issues but pay lip service. Unhealthy and toxic environment that provides little career growth or opportunities.

Pros

I worked on the Content Creation team which is primarily made up of contract employees. Work is remote, but plenty of opportunities to get together in office and meet other people and socialize afterwards. Everyone on the team is great to work with, there are efficient systems in place and it is a well-oiled machine! I've done two contract rounds with them and am looking forward to my next one.

Cons

No opportunities to convert from contract to staff. There are a lot of things that aren't available to contract employees that are only available to staff (certain meetings, resources, etc). Contract employees are limited to 18 months, and then are required to take a year off.

Pros

Some very nice people; had good benefits although those are being cut back because of financial uncertainty

Cons

Fading industry, frequent layoff cycles with hints of more to come, the company is trying to innovate but some divisions are slow to modernize other than throwing around silly talking points at meetings.
