Pros

The LA Ad Sales team was the ideal team to be on when you’re breaking into the media ad sales industry. Everyone was so supportive. I use so many quotes from that team in my work today. They understood that an entry level job is a starting point to a career and never deferred us from getting to the next level. When I interviewed the VP said “we don’t expect you to stay in this position longer than 1-2 years if we don’t have a position open for you to move up to we’ll help you at another network.” Honestly it was a breath of fresh air. So many employers don’t take the time to challenge their employees thinking it will retain people. Great place to work! They really set a high standard

Cons

Only con was I couldn’t move up on the team. Most ad sales jobs are in New York so it takes some time for a next level spot to open

Pros

I worked on the Content Creation team which is primarily made up of contract employees. Work is remote, but plenty of opportunities to get together in office and meet other people and socialize afterwards. Everyone on the team is great to work with, there are efficient systems in place and it is a well-oiled machine! I've done two contract rounds with them and am looking forward to my next one.

Cons

No opportunities to convert from contract to staff. There are a lot of things that aren't available to contract employees that are only available to staff (certain meetings, resources, etc). Contract employees are limited to 18 months, and then are required to take a year off.

Pros

Some very nice people; had good benefits although those are being cut back because of financial uncertainty

Cons

Fading industry, frequent layoff cycles with hints of more to come, the company is trying to innovate but some divisions are slow to modernize other than throwing around silly talking points at meetings.
