Pros

Team members besides management were fantastic to work with. Everyone was always willing to help. The job paid well relative to the experience required to work there. A good portion of my coworkers felt like family. Work was always left at work.

Cons

After management changed at the branch I was at, the culture at work started to become cold. There was no longer food at meetings, all conversations about anything felt extremely formal and tense, and management became harder to work with when it came to scheduling around my classes. Communicating with other departments was often hard to do.

Thank you for your review! We appreciate the time that you spent with A+ and hope that your experience with A+ was primarily positive. Management changes typically lead to department/branch culture shifts. That coupled with safety controls during COVID (like the removal of community food options or food sharing) added another layer of complexity for new managers trying to integrate and engage with their teams. Additionally, communication on all levels is paramount during times like those (any time for that matter). By hearing the voice of our employees, it gives us the opportunity to coach, to explain the why behind decisions or even make changes to improve situations. Pros

Great support system and training to get you started. Great resources and although they hold you back for a while and have to "babysit" you, its for the better until you are fully ready.

Cons

Health insurance price increased and is barely covered by the raise they are giving this year. With the price of inflation you are losing money continuing to work in this position. Bank of America tellers are now earning 25 per hour. Can A+ make this a reality to help cover their employees cost of living? I know many employees who are struggling to survive on this salary, and they even have to work mulitple jobs to keep their family aloat. And are now stuggling more with the health plan increases? That doesn't seem like it should be the case.
