Pros

Loved my boss, team and my day to day job. I had flexibility in my day to day but that's because my boss trusted me to do my job and do it with professionalism.

Cons

The leadership team was narrow minded, closed off and didn't trust the employee to do the job they were hired to do. If you spoke up and shared opinions (in a respectful way, of course) and they didn't like your ideas or feedback you were blacklisted. It was like they were the babysitters just waiting for someone to make a mistake or do something wrong. The board of directors were so out of touch and couldn't care less about the employees. The perception was that they just wanted the title and benefits that came with the title of BOD. Employees (good or bad) are replaceable and could be hired for the least amount of money and they were proud of that. The HR and Training team tried to encourage a decent culture but every change that would benefit the employee(s) would have to be approved by the BOD. Again, it definitely felt like they were out of touch and didn't give 2 cents for the employees well-being or happiness.

Pros

Great support system and training to get you started. Great resources and although they hold you back for a while and have to "babysit" you, its for the better until you are fully ready.

Cons

Health insurance price increased and is barely covered by the raise they are giving this year. With the price of inflation you are losing money continuing to work in this position. Bank of America tellers are now earning 25 per hour. Can A+ make this a reality to help cover their employees cost of living? I know many employees who are struggling to survive on this salary, and they even have to work mulitple jobs to keep their family aloat. And are now stuggling more with the health plan increases? That doesn't seem like it should be the case.
