Pros

It was nice being able to work from home, and the health benefits were very nice.

Cons

There was some major firings before the end-of-year holidays, that was really discouraging to see fellow coworkers loosing their jobs. The reasoning behind many of the firings was to outsource the positions. I also wanted to transition into a more technical role and was shadowing for that position. After the firings, there was a hiring freeze and we were told there would be no job growth, and then the CTO said he did not believe that technical role was a necessity for the company (this was discouraging for the whole department). This was the nail on the coffin. I wish I could've grown with the company, but it was not going to happen in the foreseeable future.

Thank you for your feedback. We understand that our transition has changed certain organizational aspects of the business. That said, the focus of A Place for Mom remains helping families find the right senior living solution for their parent or loved one. As the company undergoes changes to personnel and structure, the core of the business, to help families, will never change.

Pros

The mission is good. The product is good,

Cons

There isn't enough customer support to see how good the products are. The board runs the show, but they are surrounded by yes men, that make bad decisions
