Pros

Very stable business, clearly leader on the market Company performance keeps growing

Cons

There's a huge culture problem within the whole company, transparency is a key issue where C level employees give a speech about one direction but direct management gets a different one. Lack of transparency also extends to communications, bonuses where deferred, excuses where used as if this usually happens but hasn't happen since my first day of employment over 3 years ago. Raises and promotions were barely over inflation and even tho business sometimes struggle (is not the case), I feel that an honest message across the whole organization or per department bases about how this will affect employees is better than just try to quietly spread that message, same problem occurs in many other areas. This also includes the reviews of the company itself, if you wish to know about the engineering or product departments, look for those reviews, remote employees leave reviews that value to but given that they don't work under the corporate office they don't ever see how toxic the atmosphere is, but those reviews are the ones that prevent the score from getting lower. Lack of direction, engineers are moved everywhere across different initiatives, teams goals are supposed to remain but while managers are leaving the way things are done and the priority set by those managers start to change, in theory all of those should serve for the same big goal but that is not the case. There's also a huge lack of experience in terms of engineering practices, one managers doesn't want QA but doesn't have a plan to actually drive better quality resulting in a lot of rollbacks, engineers are promote to management or to replace product people but aren't trained on that, resulting in lack of requirements and details in tickets, mixed methodologies and over commitment There are silos everywhere, silos per office, silos per teams there's no direction in terms of the engineering practices. Some business users can be quite rude, lack responsiveness to technical and business questions happens all the time, it's hard to understand the value that a feature is adding to the business if you have no visibility on what drives the requirement.
