Pros

This is a fantastic environment if you want to relax and go at your own pace. As long as you can have a thick skin about the office politics and favoritism, this is great place to chill out. There are so many moving parts at the moment and so little data to make educated decisions, that it's anybody's guess who is contributing what. So if you want to kick back and take a career break, this is your spot. (To be clear, I'm talking corporate roles here. It seems like the sales teams are getting whipped pretty hard - different story there.)

Cons

If you have career growth aspirations, this is going to be an unfulfilling place to work. All executives are hired from the outside. There is zero promote from within ethos, so there is no upward mobility. Along with that the raises are appallingly low, so being stuck in your job means your compensation is essentially frozen too. Top talent consistently leaves for better opportunities once they see behind the curtain. (Don't believe me? Ask your interviewer to introduce you to the beautiful people featured on the company's Glassdoor page. They can't....those people are long gone to greener pastures.) There's no accountability for hitting goals or honoring commitments, so naturally that doesn't happen much here. This can be frustrating, if you're the type who is interested in making progress. One Sr. Director hasn't come close to hitting their monthly budgetgoal yet this year, but there are no ramifications. Blame always gets deflected to someone else and that's accepted here.

Pros

The company was great a couple years ago. Great pay, training and trust.

Cons

Now the company is a nightmare. Micromanagement is an understatement. There is no trust between the employee and management. New director has brought morale to a halt. Sales are down and customers aren’t happy either.
