Pros

Amazing mission Great co-workers Nice social events Cool office location - Seattle

Cons

The new CEO doesn't seem to care about employees All the new executives are on the East Coast instead of at Corporate Medical benefits are HORRIBLE and expensive especially for a family We are moving from a culture that promotes work from home and balance to trying to make employees come into the Seattle office every day. It would be nice to increase the parking allowance to be more in line with costs. Salaries are ok but not competitive.

A Place for Mom Response

Thank you for your feedback. We are happy to hear that you appreciate the mission, your co-workers and the Seattle office. With our new CEO on board, the organization is experiencing significant growth and change. We are working hard to encourage collaboration and teamwork across the company. Our benefits are evaluated each year to ensure they best meet the needs of our employees and all comments and suggestions are considered when making decisions. We have also implemented several new tools to ensure that we are effectively communicating to all team members including quarterly company-wide town halls and weekly in-person updates in the Seattle office. We encourage all employees to have ongoing, open dialogue with their management team and provide feedback / recommendations on any changes that could impact their experience at APFM.

Pros

The company was great a couple years ago. Great pay, training and trust.

Cons

Now the company is a nightmare. Micromanagement is an understatement. There is no trust between the employee and management. New director has brought morale to a halt. Sales are down and customers aren’t happy either.

Pros

Coworkers are often supportive and willing to share advice, especially when handling difficult family situations.

Cons

The emotional aspect of the job is significant. You're often speaking with people who are overwhelmed, grieving, or dealing with a medical crisis involving a loved one.
