Pros

They do seem legally bound not to physically beat employees. Only happens verbally.

Cons

The company is under new leadership that is hell bent on getting rid of anyone that knows what they are doing. And then hiring legions of directors and VPs instead of workers. If it isn't already, the org chart will resemble an upside-down pyramid soon enough. Production and process consists of long email and chat chains of ever changing "requirements." Get ready to enjoy emails at 11pm and meetings on the weekend as part of your new team. You'll need those weekend meetings because everything being worked on the week before will have changed by next week anyway. The swirl of confusion is matched only by the lack of prioritization. Every project and task is considered an "on fire emergency." Being nice is not considered a company value. Oh and when asked about work life balance, the CEO actually said "I don't believe in that. We want driven people." You can't make this stuff up. And the interesting thing is that this was all the case before any issues with the current pandemic situation even started. But it has definitely gotten worse since.

Cons

I felt the compensation didn’t fully match the level of responsibility and workload. Over time, the pay structure became one of the main reasons my role was difficult to stay in long term.
