Pros

Their overall mission/objective is admirable and it makes you feel good to help families.

Cons

The sales-dominated atmosphere diminishes quality standards. I've worked at nonprofits with fewer employees that had much better benefits. High paycheck deductions, high deductibles, lumped PTO (vs vacation and sick) that is not paid out when you leave, and pathetic 401k contribution. This company does not invest in their employees therefore do not come here looking for benefits, perks, or compensation.

Thank you for your feedback. It is our goal to improve our benefits each year. At APFM, we pay the bulk of benefits provided. That being said, benefits costs continue to rise and employees are responsible for a small portion of the costs. Please fill out our annual benefits survey so we can collect your feedback. We use this feedback to prioritize the benefits that matter most to everyone. If you have other suggestions, please reach out to HR or talk with your manager.

Pros

The company was great a couple years ago. Great pay, training and trust.

Cons

Now the company is a nightmare. Micromanagement is an understatement. There is no trust between the employee and management. New director has brought morale to a halt. Sales are down and customers aren’t happy either.
