Work schedule is difficult. You have to work Sunday through Thursday or Monday through Saturday. One night a week you’re required to work until 7pm. Scheduling around my kids after school activities have been difficult. I didn’t take my vacation time for the year so I could save it for Christmas. I didn’t get PTO approval because tenured employees took time instead. I was made to feel guilty for taking 3 days off of PTO because I was going to lose it if I didn’t use it. It is very much a quantity over quality mentality for management. Dial, dial, dial.
