Pros

Insurance products have relevant features to help sell when price is not competitive.

Cons

Too many to list, however here are some important ones. Level of service for customers has deteriorated, largely due to changes by upper management. Technology "improvements" are still far behind the industry, difficult to learn, and harder for customers to understand. Upper management believes in micromanagement, constantly changing goals so that nothing is ever good enough. Changes to compensation plans has cut pay for many/more difficult to bonus. Employees feedback is not welcomed by upper management, viewed as excuses. Employees a not valued, upper management believes that everyone can be replaced, and new employees are better because they don't know how things used to be. High turnover, few incentives or recognition opportunities. Insurance products are being priced out of the market, ridiculous underwriting rules and membership requirements to get a quote are driving customers away. Overall, I would run, not walk away from this company, there are much better places to work.

Pros

Yearly bonus, small stipend for working from home for internet, Celebrate As One Points rewarded to use to purchase products, HSA/FSA.

Cons

Micromanaging to the point where you become hyper aware and race to get the numbers according to flawed metrics. It's very demoralizing. Role out of new systems and processes that cause too many issues the hinder a smooth work day, but you're still expected to complete a certain amount of tasks. A back office Admin function does not need call center type metrics.
