Pros
At the Airbus plant, you get EASA certified training, and the camaraderie at the WORKER LEVEL is great, your team will look out for you, you dont have to procure your own tools ans consumables, the PPE is great and forthcoming except certain things AAA is supposed to provide instead!, the skills of the technicians brought up over the course of their careers leading to their hire by AAA is a wealth, being able to interact and cross learn with multinationals from Europe, Asia, Canada, plus the different contractors is a great opportunity to acquire skills, and network for the next better position at a different job.
Cons
keep your receipts when you buy hard shoes, loads of harping to the worker about things ABOVE the fastener pusher job level, fake enthusiasm, no stock shares, getting 401K is tiger dentistry, what benefits? disconnected supervision will get confused and try to write you up for doing things AIRBUS is asking you to be praised for... HR seems centered in bringing in foreigners, and often mess up the US citizens paperwork as tho I-9 employees and will DISAPPEAR your earned vacation time, WITHOUT COMPENSATION and without suffering REPERCUSSIONS for their actions, EMPTY PROMOTION promises, takes 8 years to increase 3 dollars in pay!
