Cons
IT business units too isolated from each other. Contract-to-hire process has serious gaps. Needs to be more transparent. Internal resumes from present contractors seeking conversion to AAMC employment can get swallowed in online application system. Many applications not acknowledged. Hiring managers did not follow up with unsuccessful applicants, even those who had previously been contractors, to notify them of final hiring decisions. AAMC may be missing many qualified applicants as well as turning off those who did apply but never heard back after several rounds of interviews.
