Shiny Objects, Poor Leaders - Director AAMC Employee Review

Everyone here is super smart but they over compensate. The cultural is focused on who can make the best strategy and use the biggest words...without actually accomplishing anything. Everyday I was super stressed about being right as opposed to being innovative or creative. Directors seemed to focus too much time on "managing" an employee versus lifting and mentoring them up. I'm glad to be away from this culture and that silly open space that felt like I was in Kindergarten being monitored by my supervisor.
