Cons
Minimal salary increases 2-3% max annually. Evaluations are linked to salary increases but they are elusive about the formula/process and there is a lack of transparency. Lack of diversity in senior leadership. Little to no room for growth, or promotion-especially for people of color. Promotion opportunities provided for the same people as evidenced by lack of diversity in leadership. Mid-level management is not evaluated based on staff development and outcomes rather their individual contributions which leads to micromanaging. Obvious cliques and "inside crowd" that keeps resources and opportunities for their friends and favorites. Most people of color , albeit educated with advanced degrees occupy most of the roles that are low-level or entry level or (admin related & call center). They take roles that allow them a "foot in the door" only to find out that growth within the company is rare unless you leave and come back or move departments.
