Pros
Great benefits package for a nonprofit. Generous sick and leave time, including hours allotted for community service. Talented staff (though not always being encouraged to work to their full potential).
Cons
A nonprofit that adopted a corporate culture resulted in constant change (departmental shifts and re-shifts and disruptive staff lay-offs). Divisions and departments still not integrated in work despite years of management talk of integration. Executive and upper level management is out of touch with staff. Their focus is bottom-line ,not the service mission as a nonprofit. Their focus is also their own advancement.
