Cons
Merchandising is included with help only given to those with higher number of merch stops not case counts. Drivers are left to work in dangerous weather without safety protocols or even check ins. Most drivers coming in are straight out of school and have no experience in city driving let alone in an 18 wheeler. When drivers express troubles to supervisors, they are expected to follow through a difficult situation rather than be offered a solution. Too many “oh wells” and lack or care for the safety of drivers that the only drivers sticking around are the ones who have more than 5 years of seniority and are given the help needed or have less workloads compared to new drivers. For someone who has seen drivers come and go, the problem is not the drivers it’s the supervising staff expecting too much without giving the guidance and tools needed for the staff to succeed. The company was not like this before new supervising staff came in making excuses for their lack of sustainability. Wish this position wasn’t so disposable and drivers were given more opportunities to succeed rather than opportunities to fail and get fired due to higher-ups not seeing them as good fits.
