Pros
ABC was top tier. Vulture Capitalists bought it and removed the entire internal Software Development team (our shining star) and outsourced. All current software development stopped as no team members remain who understand it. New code is iffy and pushed out into production with limited QA/testing. Current Developers do not understand platform itself and how it is used - resulting in huge issues between front and back line (ie what client wants vs gets, vs told is getting). There seems to be no desire to fix this, only to streamline sales process and ensure money flows as there is no real competition to speak of remaining (They buy it out). Potential for amazing company is here, but needs transparency (REAL, not the word) and a dedication from C-level down to a "plan" rather than "do whatever we can to stop the bleeding, make more money and bleed less money than we make"
Cons
see above pro: needs transparency (REAL, not the word) and a dedication from C-level down to a "plan" rather than "do whatever we can to stop the bleeding, make more money and bleed less money than we make" Need to stop trying to minimize spending to maximize profit - previous company kept a balance on spending for quality for long term and clients appreciated. They noticed immediately when the service levels degraded. Either teach the clients that this is the new norm, or begin corrections. But don't lie to both clients and employees( Record profits! But no new raises sorry)
