      Pros

      Good days are over. you can do what you want. the people who do the least on the team see to be the favourites with management

      Cons

      all the good peoples have left. you'll never get promoted. they will advertise and interview for internal positions when even before the position is advertised they told the individual who has the job that they got it but will continue many rounds of interviews wasting internal employees times (do they not think that employees word gets around) you won't ever get the days off that you won't. time off can even get approved and then a week or two before the time off you'll get message that they've revoked it and you have no choice but to work. (happened twice to myself and to a fellow colleague on another team) everything the look at is what your doing wrong and will never tell you how you can improve or get better. no one ever focuses on the good you do. you can go above and beyond for years and now one slip up and your looked down upon and almost threatened (by new managers who just walked in the door)

I completely understand things have changed in the past 2 years and some of those changes have been hard to adapt to however there is so many enhanced opportunities ahead of us both as a company and as individuals. We have made incredible progress over the past 18 months with building more pathways internally in the company for growth and development opportunities. I am particularly proud of the amount of internal promotions from long standing Glofox team members of late. I would encourage you to apply to any internal role that you see posted that are of interest. Relating to your comment on mistakes that is disappointing to hear that you feel like one slip up can cause a tarnish on you. It is not the case. As leadership we have truly embraced a culture of learning through our mistakes and if that is not the experience you are having then that means we have work to do in order to ensure it is felt in your day to day. We all make mistakes and do so regularly it is critical for our progress. Relating to days off, I would encourage you to talk to your manager, as you know we have an unlimited PTO policy and with proper planning around teams capacity there should be a lot of flexibility given.       Pros

      The team culture here is truly outstanding, everyone is incredibly welcoming and goes out of their way to make new members feel included from day one. The collaborative atmosphere makes it easy to ask questions and get support, regardless of your role or experience level. People are genuinely kind, approachable, and eager to share their knowledge. It's a great environment for learning and growing, especially as an intern.

      Cons

      Everyone on the team is extremely busy, which means projects can sometimes lack clear structure or defined goals. It can be difficult to get dedicated time from mentors or leads to move initiatives forward, so projects may feel somewhat ambiguous or slow to progress. Being proactive is a must, as things can get lost in the shuffle when everyone has a lot on their plate.
