      Pros

      I worked with a great group of people. The office staff and dock supervisors were great to be around. I miss that place.

      Cons

      The only con that I can come up with, is they closed down the Springfield IL terminal, which had 182 doors. There was times it was so busy, there were no place to put trailers when you split them.

      Pros

      Pay is best in the business. $100,000+ first year as a road driver. Year two I made $107,000… and took two months off for cancer surgery. Year three I made $129,000. I average 2-3 nights per week in a hotel. Usually only 1 night out then back home the next day. Frequently running turns (home at end of the run). Insurance is free and EXCELLENT coverage. I paid $1,000 total out-of-pocket for cancer surgery.

      Cons

      Not much life/work balance. Frustrating spending time on the extra board waiting to get a call to go to work, but with more seniority you get less wait time.
